Our Team

Dr. Jeffrey Sanger was born and raised in Bassett, Nebraska. After graduating from high school in 1983, he attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln until 1987. In 1987, he was accepted at the University of Indiana School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. He received his Bachelors of Science in Optometry in 1989 and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree in May of 1991.

Dr. Sanger began working for Dr. Jerry Vaughan at Prairie Eyecare Center in June of 1991. He became a partner in Prairie Eyecare Center in January of 1994. In January 2004, Dr. Sanger became a full partner with Dr Vaughan and formed Prairie Eyecare Center, LLC. In January 2008, Dr Sanger purchased the remainder of Prairie Eyecare Center, PC.

Dr. Sanger is a member of Beta Kappa Sigma honor fraternity and is a past member of both the Broken Bow Elks and Optimists. He is also a past board member as well as a Past President of the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff is married to Kelly (Hershman) and they have 2 children; Paul and Joelle. Jeff enjoys golf, spending time with his family, and watching almost any sport, especially football.

Dr. Jincy Ross was born and raised in Mullen, Nebraska. She is a 2012 graduate of Mullen High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences. Dr. Jincy earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry in May 2021.

Dr. Jincy joined Prairie EyeCare Center in July 2021.

Dr. Jincy is married to her high school sweetheart, Justin. They have two dogs: Sadie a chocolate lab and Zoey a German Shepard. In Dr. Jincy’s spare time, she enjoys reading, running, working out, and spending time with family and friends
