Finance & Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients, we will be glad to submit claims for your insurance benefits.  Please bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment.

Insurance companies and plans vary as to your benefit and their methods of payment.  Benefits may be paid automatically to our office. Please keep us informed regarding any insurance changes. Be aware that deductibles, length of employment, secondary insurance, various plans, and other factors can affect your benefits. It is your responsibility to address the details of your insurance plans with your benefits coordinator or insurance company. As you can imagine, there can be problems that arise concerning insurance, but we try hard to service you.

Many employers are offering a pre-tax savings plan (Flex plan) to their employees. This is an arrangement between you and your employer. Your benefits coordinator will be able to explain your company’s policy on with drawing your flex money and can also tell you if your insurance benefits affect how your flex plan pays.

Prairie EyeCare Center also participates in Care Credit, for more easy financing information please contact Care Credit.

Take all of this into consideration when choosing from the different insurance and payment plans you are offered.
